Προσεγγίζοντας με ευρηματικότητα, σεβασμό, ειλικρίνεια αλλά και πάθος τη μουσική του Schumann, οι δύο καλλιτέχνες άλλοτε συγκινούν και άλλοτε εντυπωσιάζουν.

ΒΙΟ

Philipp Weiss is a vocal artist, song writer an instructor with a long-standing presence in the international music scene and extensive, solid experience across genres. He is recognised as the first internationally acclaimed German jazz singer and has functioned as Associate Professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Since 2018, Philipp Weiss has been performing as classical Lied singer as well. As jazz-artist he toured Europe as well as the US and Russia. He also has composed theatrical music for the prestigious Schauspielhaus Bochum. Both in his capacity as artist and his vocation as teacher, Weiss has been fascinated by the inexhaustible potential of music. He has devoted himself to refining the voice as creative instrument and exploring its spiritual dimension for more than two decades. In 2018, he presented his latest seminar, “The 4th Dimension in Singing”. Philipp Weiss studied classical and jazz singing at Richard Strauss Conservatorium, followed by private music studies in Russia and the US. He has received several awards, such as the “Young Generation Jazz Award” (Germany), the “Music Prize Of The Concert Association” (Germany), and the “Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize”(State of Bavaria). In 2015, he was nominated for the ECHO JAZZ German award (best male singer). Being a passionate believer in the interactive and sharing nature of art, Philipp has invested greatly in collaborative work and creative exchange. He has been cooperating with international artists such as Steve Kuhn, Billy Drummond, Daniil Kramer, Didier Lockwood, Eric Alexander, Walter Lang, Till Broenner, Kim Sanders, Nicola Conte, George Kontrafouris a.o. Until now, he has released 4 albums.

Stathis Anninos is a greek pianist, composer and arranger. He is a graduate of Ilion Music School and holds a degree in classical piano and fugue. His music and playing is influenced by classic ,jazz and world music. He gained his profound experience through participation in national and international festivals like Jeunesses Musical Festival de Paris, Union Chapel in London, Athens Epidaurus Festival in Greece and has collaborated with various artists like Dionysis Savvopoulos, Nikos Xydakis, Nikos Kypourgos during his professional career. In 2021 he released his first solo album “Anthology”.
