Tην Πέμπτη, 7 Φεβρουαρίου, το Half Note Jazz Club παρουσιάζει το piano trio του πιανίστα και

συνθέτη Άρη Παπαδόπουλου. Το τρίο παρουσιάζει στη σκηνή του Half Note νέο υλικό από

συνθέσεις του πιανίστα αλλά και μια αναδρομή στην πρόσφατη (ANAPOLONTAS) και παλαιότερη

(ENDEAVORS) δισκογραφική δουλειά του. Οι 3 μουσικοί συμπράττουν προτείνοντας μία νέα

αισθητική προσέγγιση στο Jazz piano trio που ενσωματώνει κλασσικά αλλά και σύγχρονα

στοιχεία σε συνδυασμό με στοιχεία από τον ελεύθερο αυτοσχεδιασμό. Ο Άρης Παπαδόπουλος

σπούδασε τζαζ και κλασσικό πιάνο και δραστηριοποιείται στην τοπική σκηνή συμπράττοντας με

Έλληνες και Ευρωπαίους καλλιτέχνες. O Γρηγόρης Θεοδωρίδης σπούδασε Jazz και κλασικό

κοντραμπάσο, ολοκληρώνοντας τις σπουδές του στο Βασιλικό Ωδείο της Χάγης. Έχει συνεργαστεί

με πολλούς αναγνωρισμένους μουσικούς της Jazz στην Ελλάδα και Ευρώπη και ταξιδεύει και

παίζει μουσική σε μουσικές σκηνές και φεστιβάλ ανά τον κόσμο. Ο Παναγιώτης Θέμας είναι

απόφοιτος του Ιονίου Moυσικού Πανεπιστημίου και συμμετέχει ενεργά στην jazz σκηνή της

Αθήνας έχοντας πολυάριθμες εμφανίσεις σε φεστιβάλ και μουσικές σκηνές, συμπράττοντας με

πολλούς και καταξιωμένους μουσικούς.

On Thursday, February 7, Half Note Jazz Club presents the piano trio of pianist and composer Aris

Papadopoulos. The trio presents new material from the pianist's compositions as well as a

retrospective of his recent (ANAPOLONTAS) and earlier (ENDEAVORS) recorded works. The 3

musicians propose a new aesthetic approach to the Jazz piano trio that incorporates classical and

contemporary elements combined with elements from free improvisation. Aris Papadopoulos

studied Jazz and classical piano and is active in the local scene, collaborating with Greek and

European artists. Grigoris Theodoridis studied Jazz and classical double bass, completing his

studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He has collaborated with many recognized Jazz

musicians in Greece and Europe and travels and plays music in music stages and festivals around

the world. Panagiotis Themas is a graduate of the Ionian University of Music and actively

participates in the Jazz scene of Athens having numerous appearances at festivals and music

stages, collaborating with many well-known musicians.
